Curriculum piloting underway

Yesterday, on 5 February 2019, our Lithuanian partner Anykšćių švietimo pagalbos tarnyba was the first SET C. project partner to start piloting the SET C. Competence Development and Training Curriculum for Adult Educators (download here).

SET C. in Lithuanian newspapers

The institution Anykšćių švietimo pagalbos tarnyba from the town of Anykščiai in Lithuania published an article in their local newspaper about the first SET C. teacher training event they hosted. During the training, teachers had the opportunity to discuss in depth the social competence of teachers as well as the profile, needs, and adapting to adult learners, particularly low-skilled learners.

Lecture for teachers in Latvia

Teachers from Valsts administrācijas skola who are involved in the implementation of the SET C. organized an informative lecture on how to be an effective trainer in adult education. During the four-hour event that took place on 21 June 2018, they expanded on topics related to teacher competences, roles, and approaches in the adult learning process, communicating with learners. They also presented the SET C. project.
